2018年9月22日 · I am carrying a RAT II in D2 with the carbon fiber handle scales. I removed the black coating from the blade, and slightly dropped the point (using my 4" x 36" belt sander). It is tough, lightweight and holds a great edge!

2016年1月28日 · My favorite pocket knife is a RAT 1. It is a good all arounder. It holds an edge reasonably well, and is easy to sharpen. The only fault I have noticed is that the screws holding the clip tend to loosen over time. You will need a very small torques wrench tighten them. I intend to try some locktight, but have not gotten around to it yet.

2018年2月12日 · They make both the rat model 1, and 2 in d2 now. They're really quite nice. If you're thinking about getting one and don't live in a swamp, its easily worth the extra few bucks. I'm really glad to see more budget knives made in d2, its a great steel for an edc knife. I really am not a fan of aus 8, the edge retention is just barley adequate.

2016年1月28日 · I have the the RAT 1 & 2, I love them both. I am carrying the RAT 1 today. Its bigger than I thought but thats not a bad thing. Both the 1 & 2 came shaving sharp out of the box. The only complaint is my RAT 2 blade has become visibly slightly off center when closed. The only mod I did was replacing the clip on the RAT 2 with a deep carry clip.
