It was far from great, but it was one of the very few options available, so the choice for an "icon" was somewhat limited. 2009年12月16日 · The Rd54 is an iconic VDV piece of kit. The RD stand for rugzak (roogzak/ruck) desant (the D in VDV). This is the ruck used by VDV and MorPeh, while the rest of the army was issued vesh-meshok as their rucks. It should not be confused as a vest or rig. While it obviously works as a load bearing device, it is not appropriate razgruzka.
