Die Re 465 ist eine von der BLS Lötschbergbahn beschaffte elektrische, vierachsige Universallokomotive mit Umrichtertechnik. Sie ist eine Variante der Re 460 der SBB und gehört zur Lok-2000-Familie.

BLS has started to modernise its Class Re 465 locomotives, which, after about a quarter of a century of operation, will be adapted to another 15 years of service, around until 2040. Between 1994 and 1997, 18 Class Re 465 locomotives were produced by SLM and ABB/Adtranz.

The SLM Re 465 is the "Swiss Army Knife" under the locos. The loco is able to communicate with older vehicle even SBB IIId multi-control protocol is supported and allow for a very flexible operation and use.

The Re 465 is used for freight transport as well as passenger transport (GoldenPass Express between Interlaken Ost and Zweisimmen) and car loading.
