2015年2月3日 · Anyone posted a DIY for rear differential replacement/repair, for the W208? I have a 99 clk430 that I believe the rear end is going out on me. On way home from work yesterday I went through a drivethru and heard what sounded like rear break noise. This morning got up and put rear on stands and turned wheel bu hand to pinpoint sound.

REAR AXLE HOUSING WITH DIFFERENTIAL MERCEDES CLK 200 (208335) It has a 202-number, so I checked with the W202 as well and, sure enough, there are several units with a 3.92 or 3.91 ratio. These differ by the type of ABS your car is equipped with.

2009年6月24日 · You are trying to remove the 'rear axle shaft flange'. Unfortunately you probably need to get hold of a special M-B puller. It is described in the WIS as 'removal and installation tool. Part no: 140 589 03 61 00. Its operation described, to prevent damage, is quite complex.

2016年4月22日 · There's no need for spring compressors on the rear. It's easier to drop the subframe leaving the springs in place. Or, if you want to remove the springs first just undo the lower spring pan arms, removing the inner arm bolt and slacken the outer bolt along with disconnecting the shock which you'll want to remove anyway.
