Red X is a mysterious thief with a unique connection to Robin and the Teen Titans. Originally, Robin created the identity of Red X to go undercover and get closer to Slade. However, Robin didn't share his plan with his teammates, causing a breach of trust between them when Red X's identity was revealed.

Red X is an anti-hero and a former "villain identity" employed by Robin. First introduced in the animated series Teen Titans, he was Robin's rival and archenemy. The character remained exclusive to both the series and its continuations, Titans Go!. He was first mentioned in mainstream DC comics in 2009, in the comic Terror Titans #2.
