Apr 26, 2020 · It's Fn+Tab to switch back and forth from "game mode", and then I think you can record keypresses onto the Z, X, and C keys. Probably enter macro-recording mode by holding Fn and [Z,X,or C] until they blink. That said, I imagine there's a new RK71 out now, so I'm not even sure if we'd be talking about the same product.

The RK71 came with PBT keycaps (the K530 came with ABS), it was my first time trying PBT and it honestly really changes the typing experience. That added texture and oil-resistant keycaps really makes it feel more pleasant. It's life most likely will depend on the switches though, and dun mananalo yung K530 kasi non-hotswap yung RK71.

For those like me having issues with their RK71 (single-led, tri-mode, hot-swappable version aka RK836), I'm sharing the firmware update file I got from their support ([email protected]). I wasn't able to find this anywhere so I'm sharing it here. This fixed the connectivity issues for me as well as the tilde key not registering.

From what I know, current batches of the RK68 (rk855) and the RK G68 (rk837) are indeed hot swappable. However, you need to make sure the switches you buy will allow the led bulb to fit. The RK71 is NOT hot swappable. If you don’t need Bluetooth, I’d recommend the Womier k66 or …
