This is how it works: sky reads top 10 list, Eddie freaks out because San Diego is the worst or not the best at something, Thor describes how he is either annoyed by it or that it reminds him of his ex girlfriend, then Eddie somehow ties whatever he is talking about with the money you can save at AIS. 20 minutes music break of guns and …

What happened to Live 105.3? : r/bayarea - Reddit
There's a void when it comes to new rock music. 105.3 (and 98.5 KOME for anyone old enough to remember the south bay rock station where Carson Daly got his start) championed Green Day, Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers, etc...except 25 years later and the only decent rock music is still Green Day, Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Started on a show in Texas, met Woodsy. Moved back to SD, was on Rock 105.3 for a while, brought Woods over after a minute. Moved to 94.9, brought a gun to work, got fired.
Why is San Diego radio so bad?? : r/sandiego - Reddit
To offer another perspective, I moved here from OC a few years ago, and the radio here is so much better than LA/OC. There are actual rock stations here that play deep cuts. Yeah, there are the same old songs on the playlist getting a lot of plays, but then you'll get Zeppelin. That shit doesn't happen as much up there.

What are the classic rock station(s) on the radio where you live?
96.9 The Rock, WWUZ Fredericksburg is about the same, but they do host Nights With Alice Cooper, which is a plus. 96.3 WROV The Rock of Virginia in Martinsville (spans a decent portion of the western part of the state, and is an IHeart station) -I used to listen to all the time in college.
