The Rotenfluh (also spelled Rotenflue) is a mountain in the Swiss Prealps, located east of Schwyz in Central Switzerland. It is part of the range surrounding the valley of Alpthal, culminating at the Gross Mythen. The Rotenfluh is a popular vantage point over the Lake Lucerne region.

Die Rotenflue (vereinzelt auch Rotenfluh genannt) ist ein 1571 m ü. M. hoher Berg östlich oberhalb von Schwyz, dem Hauptort des Kantons Schwyz. [1] Er befindet sich in direkter südlicher Nachbarschaft zu den Mythen in den Schwyzer Alpen.

The Big Mythen towers majestically over the town of Schwyz. The Rotenflue cable car takes you from Rickenbach/Schwyz to the starting point: the Rotenflue. The stretch up to Holzegg at the foot of the Big Mythen is a leisurely warm-up. This is the start of the Mythen mountain trail.
