2023年8月7日 · The Postal Service has notified stakeholders about the locations of seven Regional Processing and Distribution Centers (RPDCs). That’s in addition to the 12 locations previously identified.
The Regional Processing and Distribution Center is a 1 million square foot USPS processing center building. There are four associated Local Processing Centers in the region comprised of repurposed existing facilities. The RPDC Region is centered in Palmetto, Georgia.
As previously informed, the Postal Service plans to establish Regional Processing Distribution Centers (RPDCs) and Local Processing Centers (LPCs). RPDCs will primarily handle mail processing for outgoing mail and LPCs will primarily handle mail processing for incoming mail.
