RQI for NRP is a quality improvement program for institutions. The program allows learners to complete NRP Essentials via a self-directed curriculum with quarterly cognitive and skills activities to reinforce and master key NRP knowledge and Essentials provider skills at a simulation station.

The NRP is designed for those who participate in neonatal resuscitation in the delivery room and newborn nursery. The NRP courses are offered in community hospitals by NRP Instructors or are provided as a service to community hospitals by the Regional Outreach Education Program. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification equips medical professionals with the skills and knowledge necessary to assess and treat newborns. By getting NRP certified, you’re demonstrating your ability to use neonatal resuscitation equipment, administer neonatal CPR, and other life-saving expertise.
