The Taurus 942 is a DA/SA revolver that brings modern enhancements to the classic rimfire design. Replacing the Model 94, the 942 is available in .22 LR and .22 WMR (Magnum) with options for 2" or 3" barrels, and it features either blued-steel, stainless-steel, or lightweight aluminum-alloy frames.

2020年5月30日 · The Taurus 942 is a newly-released, double-action revolver holding eight rounds of rimfire ammunition. The 942 comes in both blue and stainless, in .22 LR and .22 WMR, and with 2- and 3-inch barrels. Currently only 2″, 22 LR versions are listed on Taurus’ website, but 3″ guns and .22 WMR versions are starting to pop up for sale online.

2022年12月9日 · I've pretty well narrowed the choice down to the Taurus 942 (.22 LR). The Ruger LCR meets weight, caliber , simplicity and recoil requirements, but doesn't have an exposed hammer. Their LCRX does have the right hammer, weight is good, but comes only in .38 Spl.

2021年12月30日 · We have considered the Ruger LCRX and Taurus 942 .22 lr with 3" barrel. I haven't fired either one of these but I did hold a LCRX .22 WMR in a gun store this week, need to get her in there to hold it, basically same size & weight of .22 lr model. Taurus 942 is about the same as 856 Defender. I've seen the specs and reviews for both of these.
