"The Postman" Laws of Eight - Survivalist Forum
2009年10月30日 · As a Libertarian I think I would be the first one someone would try #2 and #8 on. Operative word is "try". One of my favorite things to do is to question authority (imagine how much my four years in the Corps was). I couldn't live at all under those rules but someone better be prepared for the SHTF if they think they try to make me.
shear strength of grade 8 vs 1/4" cotter key - Survivalist Forum
2021年3月30日 · Shear strength of a grade 8 bolt is about 90KSI. By memory, a bolt that has 70% of the diameter has half the area and therefore half the shear and tensile strength. Very rough example: A bolt that is 3/4 of an inch has about half the tensile strength of a 1 inch bolt.
Calcium Hypochlorite/Pool Shock Formula | Survivalist Forum
2024年6月24日 · My informal testing came out to be in the ballpark of 1.5 tsp in 8 oz of water to give a 5% solution. 5% translates to 50,000 ppm. I diluted that mixture 1000:1 and used a chlorine test strip and got around 50 ppm. But I had trouble reading the test strip because colors were pretty close to each other.
6.8 SPC, anybody use it? - Survivalist Forum
2016年1月27日 · i have two rifles in 6.8, one 16" traditional enfield rifling with a SAMMI spec chamber (rob arms XCR), and one 18" with polygonal rifling with a spec II chamber (AR upper).... the sammi spec barrel actually shoots tighter groups, about 1.25" @ 100 yards with 110 grain S&B ammo (also surprising). if you are a reloader you have a wide range of projectiles to pick …
"Lost? Follow the river." - Survivalist Forum
2017年3月4日 · Remember this "Follow the river" rule is a long-term solution, not a quick fix, and it really only applies in a wilderness area. The equivalent rule in a non-wilderness area with roads, would be: Go straight until the road you are on meets or crosses another road - if the other road is bigger, follow it; if the other road is not bigger, keep ...

Shoes today for 1/8 oz. of gold or higher priced shoes in the future for 1/8 oz. of gold. Measuring things in dollars isn't a good picture of value. That is why you often hear "adjusted for inflation" or "in 1982 dollars" in charts or explanations...it's a way to understand what happened to the currency/dollar, namely that It has lost much of ...
Water filters: Katadyn BeFree vs Sawyer mini - Survivalist Forum
2017年10月7日 · As a rule, I don't carry contaminated water. But then, that's my choice. In the summer - run the water thru the Sawyer, pop in a chlorine dioxide tablet and 15 min later, I have good water. Also - the Sawyer is good with most 'soda' bottles, I carry a 1L SmartWater bottle instead of the bags. Easier to fill.
NEF Survivor in .410/45 Colt - Survivalist Forum
2008年6月1日 · I tried some small shot in The Judge. Firing it at an empty light plastic bottle (Ocean Spray 1/2 gallon), the #8 shot only penetrated one side. I believe that the only appropriate ammo for this is Buck, primarily the 000. Like most, my Judge had problems with ribbed shells. There is a solution. I had the chambers reamed and polished. No ...
nuclear fallout - Survivalist Forum
2012年11月12日 · It all depends on the level of radiation at your location. You want to stay sheltered, with only very short and very seldom outside checks until the radiation level is below 0.10 R/h. Using the 7/10 rule, you can figure how long to stay sheltered based on the radiation level one hour after the peak radiation level at your location.
