2017年3月8日 · It's a great gun, but if you never intend to shoot .357, I would just stick to the 442/642 no lock series. That's basically why I traded mine. I only planned on shooting/carry .38 spl. And I actually shot my 642 better than my 340. I found I was more accurate with the blade front than the xs dot. 340's are also double the price of the 442/642 guns.

2014年12月16日 · Grips for S&W 340PD I am soon to be the new owner of a 340pd. I'm sure I'm going to want some Hogue or Pachmayr grips to replace the factory grips but I've been unable to find out on forums or at dealers if the J-frame grips from hogue or pachmayr will fit this gun.

2012年2月13日 · One of my favorite IWB holster manufacturers however show different catalog models for a 340 as opposed to the 442/642. Is there a difference in the dimensions somewhere, perhaps the cylinder thickness or something like that? If so, that might change my thinking. I've obviously tried the S&W website but I can't seem to find detailed specs.
