My purpose for each one is different, and I also understand that my circumstances have allowed me the luxury of owning all 3 types. I carry my full sized M&P's when I can. But when the weather gets hot, and my cover garments diminish, that's when I employ the Shield.

It came with the S&W micro 90 flashlight and I like the look and feel of the flashlight. 2016年2月1日 · It is usual for one to be included in the owners manual. But, S&W decided not to include it in the SD series. Walther did the same too with a couple of their models. However, one of the guys here to watch the pro bowl thinks that he heard that a diagram is now available from S&W but he is not sure and thinks he might be remembering wrong.

2015年7月20日 · FYI.. Eric just called me to talk about the Guide Rods being a tat to long on the new S&W SD-VE's.. He recognized the issue and will be making new Rods 30/1000 shorter. 2020年6月23日 · There's an SW40V as well as an SW40VE as well, and that's what you've got to look out for because the SW40V and SW40VE are last generation versions of the SD Series with different dimensions which would render them incompatible with hard molded composite holsters, so make sure that the holster you purchase is for the 4th Generation SD Series.

2015年2月14日 · With SD series I think your only option would be a custom barrel made for you by one of the custom barrel manufacturers. Likely would be pretty expensive since it would be for something other than a Glock, M&P, 1911 etc

2016年10月23日 · I just got a new S & W SD 40 VE. It is a price point polymer frame .40 caliber. Nice enough gun, I wanted a .40 to have as EDC and a full frame pistol anyway. One of my boys and I put 50 rounds through it yesterday and neither one of us could get anything even close to an acceptable group at 15 yards.
