Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center is the sole provider of trauma and psychiatric emergency services for the City and County of San Francisco. A comprehensive medical center, ZSFG serves some 100,000 patients per year and provides 20 percent of the city’s inpatient care.

We have both Emergency and Urgent care available on our campus. As part of the SF Health Network, there is Emergency and Urgent care available in other locations around the city. The SF Health Network is a community of top-rated clinics, hospitals, and programs including ZSFG, Laguna Honda, and community clinics across San Francisco.

At ZSFG, we uses ultrasound, CT and MRI to diagnose and treat disorders of the liver, pancreas, colon, uterus, ovaries, prostate, and bladder. The types of disorders we evaluate and treat include primary and metastatic liver cancers, liver or bile duct diseases requiring biliary drainage, peripheral vascular diseases and disorders of circulation.
