I know the ambient lighting option includes the interior lighting that lights up orangeish red/white in the door cards/inner door handles and map pockets.

I am able to adjust the brightness and color, but I have never been able to see lighted door handles or footwell lights. If I have the car parked in a garage when the headlights come on should i see the glows? jeff.

2023年9月22日 · In the ordering guide for US spec 5 series, 4UR (Interaction bar with Ambient Lighting) is listed as an option with no charge for a 530i. It says it will replace standard ZWL ambient lighting. Is 4UR standard in the US or do you have to separately order it? It isn’t an option to choose on the BMW US configuration site.

I have a 2011/04 build F10 535i. I have ambient lighting but the "BMW" in my door sills doesn't light up. It looks like it's made of the plastic that would transmit light. Should it be lighting?

2017年4月14日 · Just purchased a 2015 BMW 640i convertible that will deliver next week from out of state. I noticed on the VIN pull that it has the ambient lighting package. It is listed as S4UR Ambient interior lighting.
