The S800 is a sports car from Honda. Introduced at the 1965 Tokyo Motor Show, the S800 replaced the successful Honda S600 as the company's image car. With a redline of 8,500 rpm, it is one of the highest-revving sports cars produced for street use.

Available as either a coupe or roadster, the S800 was the first car built by Honda capable of reaching 100mph. In 1968, the S800 received a facelift with the S800M, which featured side mounted front indicators, as well as the addition of disc brakes. The S800 was built until 1970 and Honda did not produce another 'S' model until the S2000 in 2000.

2020年8月16日 · The S800 slowly took over from the S600 during the 1966 model year. Like the name implies, it saw a displacement increase to 791cc. The increased power (now rated at 70hp) allowed Honda to claim 100mph capability for the first time.
