2021年3月8日 · In July 2017, California adopted a new law, the California Foster Youth Sexual Health Education Act (Senate Bill 89), which requires comprehensive sexual health education for youth in foster care and new training requirements for caregivers, social workers and judges.

2025年2月12日 · SB 89 changes the definition of “waters of the commonwealth” by removing “all rivers, streams, creeks, lakes, ponds, impounding reservoirs, springs, wells, marshes, and all other bodies of surface or underground water, natural or artificial.” The state definition is changed to instead refer to the federal definition of “navigable waters.”
