2016年12月15日 · I have two setup. For myself, I like my 16" BCM, DD A1.5 BUIS, Surefire G2X on a VTAC mount. A red dot is very nice to have, but not a necessity for me for a strictly indoor carbine. My carbines that do dual purpose all have optics. For my wife, I have a 11.5" BCM SBR, Aimpoint Pro, MBUS Rear (FSB front), and a Streamlight Tac2 setup.

2012年12月27日 · Thats nice I think Im going to have to give that a try on my SBR. The mini scout is the perfect size, and I dont think ill ever be shooting anything passed 50 yards with my SBR in the dark. Ill probably wait till after SHOT though to see if they release a 200 luemen mini scout like the they did with the EB1 backup. Thanks guys for all the input.

Blinding indoors; 350 lumens / 55,000 candela 123A lithium - More comparable to the Arisaka/Malkoff with more throw, which is a plus

2019年2月2日 · I'm a fan of two-stage, especially on defensive/duty/serious use guns, but it's really just going to be a matter of what pull weight and which trigger profile you like. I'm a fan of the 3.5lb pull found on the SSA-E, and so far my absolute favorite is a Super Tricon with SSA-E springs. For a single stage SBR, the SSP would probably be perfect.

2020年4月7日 · I'm thinking of building an AR specifically for home defense. My current setup is a 16" barrel, which definitely seems long maneuvering around the house and stuff, at least with my inexperience. I have an extra carbine barrel thats off of a S&W M&P that's 14.5" with a pinned muzzle device, a BCM BCG, DD 9.0 Lite Quad Rail and other assorted parts.

2024年3月6日 · I have a 300blk SBR that I set up years ago for kind of a dedicated hd setup. AAC 9" (factory upper), with an Omega suppressor that I leave on it when I'm not using it on other guns. For HD setup, I tested lots of ammo, and read lots of ammo reviews and decided that the 110 Barnes black tip ammo was the best setup for 300blk for HD.

2025年1月4日 · Honestly, my new favorite setup is lightweight. 14.5" BCM ELW hammer forged pencil barrel with the MCMR rail, SF3P flash hider, Magpul Pro LR BUIS, B5 sopmod. Attached File I'll add a T2 later but the entire rifle comes out to 6 pounds and 10 ounces in ready to fight configuration before a can is added.

2020年8月2日 · Nice camo job. I’ve done it in a Grendel SBR where 700-800 yard hits are not hard with reticle holdovers. I’ve done it on a a 300 Blackout where holdovers are needed beyond 200 yards. For a 556 out to 400 yard practical limits a LPVO optic is nice but is less necessary but other than weight and cost is not a detriment.

2014年9月21日 · The setup is an Eotech EXPS3-0, Magpul MBUS Pro, and Surefire X300. I was originally planning to get a Surefire Mini Scout light for it, but decided to try out an X300 I already had. I like this setup so much I've decided to pick up an X300U in the near future and put the X300 back on a pistol for HD duty.

I have an ATPIAL-C on the way, along with a Surefire M300.
