2013年1月5日 · I've found that thick foam boogie boards work great for axe heads. I draw out the shape I want and use a jigsaw to cut it out. A strip of leather or rubber affixed to the "blade" with super glue or epoxy will keep it from breaking down and will prolong your weapons life (I went through several axe heads before I figured this out).

 Crash Axe (SCA) is a melee weapon in Escape from Tarkov. Designed as a tool for working with hard surfaces. Materials and construction are designed to provide optimal impact and strength. The head of the axe is made of 6AL4V titanium with a thickness of 2.85 inches.

Made from dense rubber. It is safe for SCA use and the hole will stretch to accommodate thick rattan. Some kingdoms recommend using with a clacker (read the SCA rules of your kingdom if you don't understand). Designed and manufactured by MFC, all exterior edges are rounded.

2018年2月23日 · Many of the commercially available ones that are rubber aren't solid. They have empty spaces like this axe head from Windrose to allow some compression. For how much abuse SCA weapons get I would still recommend the vulcanized rubber. If you are uncomfortable with how hard it hits glue on a strip or two of blue camp foam to the striking edge.
