SCP: Roleplay is an action-roleplaying game developed by Portuguese company MetaMethod, owned by MetatableIndex, alongside the SCP | Roleplay Community group.

SCP: Roleplay is a Roblox game created by MetatableIndex on May 16th, 2020. It takes place in a site owned by the fictional SCP Foundation, to Contain strange, terrifying, and dangerous SCPs from the public. SCP: Roleplay contains many teams for players to utilize and rank up in.

You can also report users in game on the SCP: Roleplay Discord. Note that an active in game report must be submitted before you can report on Discord. Your message must require the username, reason and evidence.

Teams are the many different roles that you can play as in SCP: Roleplay. Each team has different tasks and equipment, which will be required to keep the game going. Every team (excluding the default teams) requires a certain amount of Global XP to unlock.

SCPs are the main focus of SCP: Roleplay, alongside the SCP universe as a whole. They are anomalous entities — sentient or not — that defy the rules of reality; things that should not exist.

Ranks are a feature in SCP: Roleplay. A player's rank on the Role they are currently playing as can be found directly underneath their username. Ranks are different for every team and can only be unlocked with Team XP.

SCP-3008 is a mode in SCP Roleplay selected from the main menu. Upon entering the mode, players will spawn into the very large (but finite) map of SCP-3008, on the 'Players' team. (there is a 'Staff' team, though it appears to be inaccessible).

The VC Roleplay gamemode is the normal SCP: Roleplay but with the Voice Chat (VC) feature, only accessed by being 13+ and verifying the Player's age with Legal Documents.

SCP-316, nicknamed "Color-Draining Light", is an inanimate, Safe class SCP resembling that of a small bronze lamp. SCP-316's containment chamber is located in Sector - 2 — next to the Transformers Room — requiring a level 2 keycard to access.
