2014年7月11日 · Both only work when in Live TV viewing mode (video window in menus does not count), and are best when used when not viewing back in the buffer (Live TV truly live). Both put a Date/TimeStamp in the TiVo logs, and can be used multiple times to mark multiple instances. 777-clear adds additional diagnostic information to the logs.

2019年3月17日 · Recently both of my MTR-700 tuning adapters (TA) stopped working and I was not able to tune any of the SDV channels on my Tivo channel adapter DVR's. Both TA's have since been replaced but the problem has not been resolved. The yellow light just continues to blink and all SDV channels cannot be tuned to.

SDV frees up bandwidth by only broadcasting channels that are actively being watched or recorded. The screensaver replaces a blank screen. If it's thought of as a feature, albeit unwanted, it will have successfully distracted from why it's used.

I understand this is to ensure continued functionality when the cable plant in the Las Vegas, Nevada area switches over to high split SDV.
