The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) supports low-income , first-generation college students. EOP students receive ongoing advising, tutoring and workshops to help them succeed in their courseowrk and graduate. Eligible California residents and AB540 students are encouraged to apply.
EOPS - CCSF
As an EOPS student, you will have access to one-on-one counseling, priority registration, EOPS computer lab, transfer workshops, and the EOPS summer bridge program. EOPS students have access to book vouchers and transfer application waivers.
Advising | Educational Opportunity & Pathway Programs
EOP provides academic advising services in the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters. To help facilitate your success at SF State, EOP students are encouraged to see their EOP advisor twice per semester. For more information on EOP Advising, Check out the EOP Advising Resource Board. Please schedule an appointment time you can keep.
How to Apply | Educational Opportunity & Pathway Programs
EOP at SF State only admits applicants in the Fall semester. Notification of admission to SF State and notification of admission to EOP are two separate steps. A student must first be admitted to SF State before their EOP file is reviewed.

EOP provides mentorship services in the Fall, Spring, & Summer semesters. Our Mentoring program offers positive, active and experiential mentoring by pairing students with experienced EOP students. Our hope is to increase EOP student achievement by engaging in co-curricular participation with peers, faculty and staff.
