Those of you with the SH-AWD : r/Acura - Reddit
I traded my 2018 FWD for the 2023 SH-AWD. The FWD would spin out if you accelerated quickly or if the road was wet/snow. I didn't like the feeling of losing traction. I enjoy the response/feel of the SH-AWD, especially when driving through the mountains. What I didn't fully grasp was the fuel economy. The V6 FWD averaged 27mpg.

Oct 20, 2022 · SH-AWD is a phenomenal system and the 6MT was not slow during it's heyday and is still respectable in terms of quickness. Or, maybe I'm just biased. The 1G TLX seemed like it had a dropoff in interior quality, personality, performance, etc, especially pre-MCE.

I dont want to start a Spec war, but TL Type S vs TL SH-AWD
Mar 3, 2019 · SH-AWD is the better car in every way except weight. It's newer with better technology, more HP and faster. Its primary focus is performance not hazardous conditions.
