The Holden Commodore (VR) is a full-size car which was produced by Holden from 1993 to 1995. It was the third iteration of the second generation of the Holden Commodore. The VR range included the luxury variants, Holden Commodore Berlina (VR) and Holden Calais (VR) and a commercial model, the Holden Ute (VR).

2020年10月15日 · Very tidy-looking VR SS in great condition for its age: auto, mechanically sound, unmarked interior. The VR-series of Commodore represented a fairly significant visual facelift over the popular VP, with only the roof and door skins being carried over.

Most revered (apart from HSV models) was the SS, naturally enough fitted with the 5.0 litre V8, although you could option it with a HSV enhanced unit good for 185kW. The SS featured an integrated brake light within the rear wing, along with an aerodynamically designed rear bumper.

2007年1月1日 · It might look as if it came off the ark but a VR or VS SS provides a fuel-injected V8 engine, a good five-speed transmission (with the option of a four-speed automatic) anti-lock brakes (in later versions) and even independent rear suspension. Hardly as Stone Age as its appearance would suggest.

2020年11月3日 · The VR Maloo was a model that was produced by Holden Special Vehicles (HSV). While HSV is a separate entity to Holden, it has a similar relationship as AMG has to Mercedes-Benz. The Maloo Package included a revised grille and front bumper, side skirts, a molded roll bar, and distinctive HSV alloy wheels.

Features: VR Commodore S and SS. Compared to the Executive, the Commodore S was further equipped with 15-inch alloy wheels, FE2 sports suspension and a rear spoiler; models with automatic transmissions were also fitted with cruise control.
