Seat lock won't release. - SV650.org - SV650 & Gladius 650 Forum
If it's a pointy SV you might be able to push the front of the seat down where the locking mechanism is, twist the key, lift the seat off and release the key. If there is an upwards pressure it can cause the mechanism to be hard to move.
