I can almost certainly guarantee you will be underwhelmed with a sealed counterpart, or even a pair after tasting that PB3000. That's a good solid ported sub and some big shoes to fill for a sealed package. I'd suggest maybe stay in the SVS ecosystem, do a trade and get a pair of PC2000s. Or ...

2020年1月17日 · I love me some SVS tho. @shadyJ how do the PB3000s compare to the VTF-3s? I'm only assuming the 15" Hsus would fill the space better because size, but I haven't spent any time with the 3000s. The 3000s are pretty close to the VTF-3s. The 3000s have a bit more output around 20-25Hz but the VTF-3s have a bit more around 16Hz.

2022年9月2日 · The SVS PB3000 with an enclosure slightly larger than this is 10db better down low (20-30hz) and even with mid bass (50-60hz) that should be the sealed box sweet spot is still ahead a couple of db, if my memory is right. I know the never ending debate about sealed vs ported but at the end of the day the price doesn't align with the performance.

2023年12月23日 · I've had my svs pb-1000 for 2 years now and am looking to upgrade. Used mainly for home theater, room size 14'x35'x7', in my basement. First question, pb-2000 pro or sb-3000 pro? Next question would be do I sell my 1000 or put it behind the seating and use as a 2nd sub (or vice versa)? Thanks!

2020年5月25日 · Did I make the wrong choice for pb-16 ultra over the 2 3000? I’m considering getting a second one in the future and decided for a pb-16 to future proof my self.
