They have low recoil that makes them easier to shoot accurately but they weighs down light belts. By the way, my 4586 new with night sights was $580 + tax in 1996. 2016年5月31日 · For a heavier pistol like your 45XX with a steel frame I would recommend a sticky holster. Give them a ping and see what size would be best. Or Alien Gear if you insist on something with clips/loops for a belt. Keep in mind that the 4586 will fit in any holster meant for the 4506 unless it's got a thumb strap.

2011年7月21日 · I'm use to, and completely comfortable with, the DA/SA trigger transition, but the very smooth DAO 4586 trigger pull is extremely nice. I' is like an 8 shot revolver. I'm thinking about having Novak replace the rear sights with a all-black rear and a gold bead from the front.

2019年10月29日 · The 4586 was my father's duty sidearm. When he retired from Idaho State Police in 94 it was gifted to him as a retirement gift. The 4516-1 was his off-duty piece. He liked it because it took the same magazines and it was a 45. They're both excellent pistols. I didn't appreciate them when I was younger and not as experienced, but that changed.
