I always read that Sabres are "higher quality/better built" that e.g. a Catalina 30 (your standard family cruising boat..).

2005年12月13日 · Sabre Targa 34 I have had a 1989 Targa 34 # 375 for the past 4 years and have enjoyed it immensely. Some Sabres have had problems at the mast step--look very carefully for rot. 2023年7月20日 · Sabre 34s, 36s, and 38s have an issue with the mast step. The drain was not well designed and water can become trapped causing rot. Many of these have been fixed by now. 2019年8月1日 · You don't say which Sabre 34 so impossible to say. If it is a MKI it will depends which side your shaft exits, port or starboard. If it's port exit, most common & typically with a Westerbeke, you remove the access panel in the quarter berth, the one under the cushions, lay on your side and do it one handed.

2020年4月24日 · I own a 1978 Sabre 34 and last season the boom vang strap on the boom busted. The boom vang is a block/tackle type that connected to a strap on the boom and then connected to the mast collar on the deck via a shackle. In looking at the manual and on the internet, it appears that there might be a better way to connect the boom vang.
