All events take place within the Southern area of the internationally renowned Maloti Drakensberg World Heritage Site and large swathes of this iconic wilderness are traversed.

All two events start at Glencairn Farm near Underberg and cover the same 265 kms of thrilling trails with a ridiculously high proportion of singletrack, some gut-busting climbs, leg-wobbling descents and a whole lot of fun.

This open road will warm the legs, and the smallish climbs will split the groups as they race along the fast district road passing through green valleys filled with dairy cows. A left turn leads the tour into the timber farm and first singletrack of Acutts Avenue .

Race briefing starts at 4pm each day. All teams will be issued with their black boxes containing their number board, clothing and other important items. Their race village bands will be fitted. Drinks will be available at a bar operated by Underberg School.
