A Sara Stedy, aka sit-to-stand lift, can make transferring so much easier. With little effort, a therapist or caregiver can easily use this device to help someone transfer to a wheelchair, get on and off the toilet, or get in or out of the shower.

The Sara Stedy allows a lone caregiver to provide support for a patient when going from a seated position to a standing position. The easy-to-use device allows the patient more mobility, whilst also protecting the caregiver from straining injuries.

The Sara Stedy is a mobile active lift with a safe working load (SWL) of 182 kg (400 lb). It is intended to be operated on horizontal surfaces for transferring patients and residents in hospitals, nursing homes or other health care facilities.

Designed for smaller patients, 138-172 cm (4’6”-5’8”) tall and weighing up to 182 kg (400 lb). The pivoting seat can be moved out to enable the patient to stand, and provides an angled seated support during the transfer. The knee pad provides support for raising into standing and also to the patient’s legs during the transfer.
