2012年1月14日 · i have seen some mention of the Simcoe bug being a perch killa. I have pictures and instructions , but need to know more. Has anyone on here made them ? 2015年12月30日 · Last time I was there I caught 2 around 18" pumped stomachs and found scuds and something similar to a hellgrammite? They were still alive and crawled back into the hole! I was using pink plastics with meal worm but scuds were olive and the unknown bug was more gray than anything!

2025年1月26日 · I just returned from a four-day ice fishing trip to the upper Mississippi near La Crosse, WI and definitely have the bug now. Conditions were great; 14+" of ice, no snow, super low temps, ice making each day, and more and more cars and trucks driving out.

In Fisherman was my go to for information ..Ice Fishing Secret book and DVDs really paved the way for our sport . What's old is new again ...baits and techniques hardly changed colors and paint materials/schemes etc are improvements on a old theme.

2022年11月9日 · I have tried them with chironomids, scuds and leeches/balanced leeches. All caught fish but haven't had a time yet when they did a lot better than the small tungsten jigs under a dropper.

2009年12月15日 · Hi everyone! I was wondering if anybody out there has ever tried drop-shotting tied flies. I have been thinking about picking up a few micro flies normally used for fly-fishing and seeing how they work when the bite is super tough this winter.
