To create a virtual COM pairs it is possible to use a null-modem emulator called com0com. Instead of using physical serial ports and cables, com0com creates virtual COM port pairs. These are pairs of virtual serial ports that are connected to each other as if they were physical ports with a null-modem cable in between.

Device Manager confirmed that they were installed. I assigned com2 to SDRUno’s CAT control @ 57600 baud per the instructions.

After installing com0com, I created a Virtual Port Pair, which creates 2 virtual COM ports which are connected via software.

2020年11月5日 · I've been using Com0Com with Windows 10 for a long time and haven't had any problems. Not sure what the YouTube video tells you to do, but I downloaded and installed the program, created several COM port pairs (they show up as CN--, CN-- originally and you can then rename them to COM#, COM3) and was good to go.

2020年7月16日 · Com0COM works great and I use it all the time. To connect HRD to SDRuno you need to do two things. 1. Go into the settings for VRX0 in SDRuno and configure CAT to use COM10 at 57600. Click Enable and Connect. See screenshot below. 2. Configure HRD to use Com11 at 57600 and configure it for the Kenwood TS-480. Now you should be up and running.
