SEG Advanced Modeling (SEAM) Corporation - SEG Wiki
Gulf of Mexico Subsalt Numerical Model, SEAM The SEG Advanced Modeling Program (SEAM) is a partnership between industry and SEG designed to advance geophysical science and technology through the construction of subsurface models and generation of synthetic data sets.
SEAM - SEG
SEAM, the research arm of SEG, organizes collaborations among industry, government, and academia to address major industry subsurface challenges. Through numerical modeling and computation, SEAM provides a forum for industry leaders to resolve geophysical problems while advancing subsurface management research and development.
Open Data - SEG
Using the SEAM Phase I Model, the Interpretation Challenge offers an excellent opportunity to learn interpretation skills, evaluate interpretation software on a small, well-known dataset, and also identify the uncertainty in determining important steps in risking a well being drilled.
Arid Model - SEG
The Arid model focused on features of desert environments, including karst structures and extreme contrasts between unconsolidated near-surface sediments and bedrock, which often obscure deeper imaging targets.
Model-Based Assurance - SEAM
SEAM (Systems Engineering and Assurance Modeling) is a web-based collaborative modeling platform for modeling assurance cases integrated with the models of the system. Try it now! SEAM supports the Goal Structuring Notations (GSN) standard to build assurance case models.
SEAM Update: The Arid Model — Seismic exploration in desert …
The Arid Model places the Mid-Continent Basin of the Barrett Model, with its finely layered shaley-sand sequences and anisotropic shale reservoirs, underneath a 500-m-thick section containing features typical of desert areas.
SEAM Update: SEAM Phase II: The Arid Model—Seismic …
This update describes the Arid Model, which will be the next SEAM model to enter production numerical simulations. Features of desert terrains that can disrupt seismic exploration include karsts, wadis or buried river channels, sand and unconsolidated surface sediments, outcropping bedrock, and topography.
Geoscience Advancements with SEAM Data - SEG Wiki
2017年12月28日 · The model was designed based on rock physics fundamentals allowing an improved near-real earth relationship between seismic and potential field data sets. Seismic data sets include an extensive isotropic numeric volume, tilted transverse isotropic (TTI) volume, and an elastic volume.
SEG Advanced Modeling (SEAM) Phase I consortium continues to make progress toward their main project goals, which were summarized in a TLE article in August 2008. Simulation of a variable-density acoustic seismic survey over the SEAM model will soon commence. Th e survey will consist of approximately 65 000 shots.
Design and generate synthetic 3-D seismic data that represent seismic challenges to the consortium members and the exploration seismology community. Provide data sets to the exploration seismology community for research, benchmark, and education.
