On October 11, 1975, Sega adopted their current logo: a blue wordmark, sometimes sporting a white border. The font is set in dry-transfer typeface Yagi Double, which was a common display face for the era. Modifications were made to the wordmark in 1982; the E is wider, and the G and the A are now fused together.
