The e604 from Sennheiser is a high-SPL handling (more than 160dB) cardioid microphone optimized for use on drum sets and other percussion miking applications. The e604 microphone actually comes with an integrated pivoting mount that can screw directly onto mic stands or attach to the rim of a drum making setup very efficient.

2025年3月20日 · I own the tg58 version of the Beyer and they are very good, obstensively a condensor Tom mic like the Shure 98, however I prefer them. The 604's are fairly universal dynamic tom microphones, the 904's are a "better" version, closer to the sound of the old 421's.

2016年11月20日 · I have a 604 since new in 1978. The cartridge you have is the equivalent of the Shure M91ED which is a very good sounding cartridge. If you are experiencing hum make sure the headshell pins and the contact plate are cleaned.
