2014年2月11日 · We used Siga Wigluv 60, which is 2 1/4 inches wide. Before taping an OSB seam with Siga Wigluv, it's a good idea to install a coat of Dockskin primer with a mini-roller. Siga Wigluv covers the seam between the pressure-treated plywood and the lowest course of OSB wall sheathing. The wall sheathing is almost fully taped.

2015年11月16日 · We used a lot of both tapes in our new house. The window supplier recommended the Siga Wigluv for the windows, so that's what we used there. It sticks tenaciously to osb, plywood, vinyl and hands. We used 3M 8067 for all sorts of things. It also adhered well to everything. Martin did a backyard tape test a while ago and both performed well.

2025年1月10日 · Our Siga Wigluv 60 made it here in time before our project starts, but the primer sadly won’t be here in time due to some delays. We are using Wigluv for our existing exterior OSB seams, and it will be installed in colder weather (lows around 25 F). We’re using Fentrim for the foundation conection and at the wall corners.

2019年9月23日 · I’m working on building a small workshop and will be air sealing the 1/2″ OSB sheathing using SIGA Wigluv tape. I plan on using the 100 mm wide tape at the sill between the concrete slab an sheathing and 60 mm wide for the OSB seams.

2019年7月24日 · -I plan on using Siga Wigluv to tape the seams of EPS foamboard. I will be using the 2.4″ tape for seams in between sheets; those are easy for me to think about. I will be using 3m 8067 to tape any seams in sheathing and house-wrap. I am using both house-wrap and the EPS as WRBs because I’ve given in to Murphy’s Law.

2018年8月29日 · 3M 8067: Sticks crazy well on OSB, as good or better than Siga Wigluv/Fentrim, ZIP and Tescon Vana. Oddly, it has very little adhesion to the fluid applied products. Over time, ZIP and Siga Wigluv have had the best adhesion to the fluid applied products.

2024年1月2日 · There is no issue with putting Siga Wigluv tape directly on top of the SA membrane. Michael Maines correctly points this out. The biggest issue with intrusion is the driving forces and most of this has been taken care of with a fully ventilated rainscreen.
