2021年5月17日 · Nice! The M5 is indeed IMO one of the best Sire values out there. The preamp which they use in all their basses seems most at home in the M series bass, where IMO seems a bit overkill in the P and J type basses. The hardware, which has been a sticking point on other Sires, is very nice on the M5.

2020年11月24日 · I think Sire made an unusual choice in making the M5 equal in overall quality to the M7. I paid 550 shipped for a brand new M5, and now that I know what my 550 got, I have a hard time paying more for the same quality bass with different visuals.

2021年11月25日 · So finally decided between a ray34 or a sire m5. I’m aware tonally they’re not quite the same. Personally love the tone of the ray34, but in awe of the quality and build of the m5 and they’re both around the same price.
