The Egg, also known as the Crimson, is a strange, large, red, oval-shaped object that was discovered by BadBoyHalo while mining out his statue room before December 6, 2020. Since then, it has grown much larger and exhibits a strange phenomenon of weeping vines and tendrils that have been found across different locations of the SMP.

He played a major role to the Blood Vines, being the first to be corrupted by the Egg and BadBoyHalo's main motivation throughout the SMP. Being terrified of the Egg's effects, he encased it in obsidian and trapped himself inside. When he was released, he had turned red and a different person with no motivations other than the Egg.

The Eggpire was a hybrid faction-organization, with BadBoyHalo, Antfrost, Punz, Ponk, Hannahxxrose making up its pre-dissolution membership. The alliance was formed on January 14, 2021 during a roundtable between the founders, Bad, Ant, Punz and CaptainPuffy (who has since left), in order to become more powerful.

The Egg is a powerful entity in the Dream SMP. It acts as a major antagonist in Season 2 and the overarching antagonist of the first half of Season 3. Its primary ability being able to corrupt the minds of players, causing them to worship it and do It's bidding.
