2023年6月15日 · The SKML aims to promote the quality of medical laboratory investigation involving diagnostics and treatment in order to raise and maintain the standard as high as possible. The External Quality Assessment Scheme (EQAS) involves the implementation of EQAS schemes of all medical laboratory disciplines.

Because according to ISO15189 all medical laboratories must participate in an interlaboratory EQA for all their determinations, or must have an alternative approach for this, the SKML has established a positioning note on this subject.

2012年12月24日 · To monitor commutability of the SKML EQA-pools with new methods and/or analyzers over the years, results of the native spy-sample and a regular EQA-sample with approximately the same analyte concentration are systematically compared (data not shown).

The main purpose of the quantitative schemes is to evaluate the ability of the participating laboratories to quantitatively analyse the concentrations of the analytes included in each scheme.
