SLSF 3749 at Church Street Station, Orlando, Florida. At Church Street Station there is a steam locomotive on display. It was built in 1911 by Baldwin Locomotive Works for Frisco. It sits in Downtown Orlando next to Orlando's Second Railroad Station. The station is restored and is rented out to different stores.

2025年4月4日 · Incidentally, the 3749 was the last Frisco steam locomotive still on the active SLSF roster, to run in regular sevice. She was leased to the Alabama State Prison in Atmore, Alabama and served there until the Fall of 1956.

2025年3月18日 · For the record, SLSF #3749 was the last Frisco steam locomotive in active service. It was leased to the Alabama State Prison in Atmore and remained running until the Fall of 1956. Regular Frisco steam had ended in late February of 1952. It's safe to say that the assignment of the 0-6-0 to the prison was the reason for 3749's survival. Les

The Frisco 3749, a 0-6-0 type weighting 77 tons with an 11-foot wheelbase was used in the filming. After filming the Frisco 3749 set in Pensacola's Pen Yard for several years until it was finally sold to a local scrap dealer in 1968 or 1969.

2005年11月11日 · Locomotive 3749, picture in middle on bottom, is For Sale on "Ozark Mountain Railcar" for $35,000. Located in Florida. Sorry to say this, but it is a Seaboard Air Line (SCL) locomotive. I was looking through photographs of it, and the side of the cab has a Seaboard Air Line logo, unless that was just painted on there.
