2001年7月23日 · Main reason for buying this set over other OLED's is I love the idea of the screen creating enhanced sound, and the AG8 has been significantly upgraded in sound quality from the AF8, with extra up firing mid speakers in rear and screen actuators moved further apart to improve positioning of sound stage.

However it seems this has been a long standing theme with Sony TVs - appalling UI responsiveness relative to peers. A long time ago - (several decades) Sony were a premium brand who produced good quality AV equipment.
