The corn oil was obtained from M/s AAK Kamani Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, as a gift sample and oleic acid was procured from M/s Hi-media laboratories Pvt Ltd.

Doxorubicin hydrochloride was a gift sample from RPG Life Sciences Limited, Mumbai, India. Sophorolipid was synthesized and characterized at the National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, India. 8 Chloroauric acid (AuCl 4 ) and Texas red were obtained from Sigma-Aldrich Chemicals.
