2024年11月21日 · Masala-CHAI is a fully automated framework leveraging large language models (LLMs) to generate Simulation Programs with Integrated Circuit Emphasis (SPICE) netlists. It addresses a long-standing challenge in circuit design automation: automating netlist generation for analog circuits.

Our framework demonstrates performance improvements, tested on approximately 7500 schematics of varying complexity across 10 books. As a part of the study, we have finetuned different LLM models with the generated dataset and reported their capability to generate SPICE netlists. We open-source this solution for community-driven development.

SPICEPilot is an AI-driven framework designed to enhance the automation of SPICE code generation and circuit simulation. Utilizing advanced Large Language Models (LLMs), SPICEPilot bridges gaps between software and hardware domains, generating SPICE code for analog and digital circuits with standardized benchmarking and performance evaluations.

In this paper, we analyze and identify the typical limitations of existing LLMs in SPICE code generation. To address these limitations, we present SPICEPilot—a novel Python-based dataset generated using PySpice, along with its accompanying framework.
