The Society for Research in Child Development (SRCD) publishes three journals, as well as the Social Policy Report. SRCD members receive full digital access to all three journals as a benefit of membership.

Monographs are extended works, focused on specialized topics, judged to make significant contributions to SRCD's mission—advancing the developmental sciences and promoting the use of developmental research to improve human lives.

The Chat with Leaders event is a student tradition at the SRCD Biennial Meetings. This event provides a forum for students to interact with senior scholars who have central roles in the field of child development and the Society.

In 2020, the Wallace Foundation provided funding to SRCD to strengthen the program, extending it from mentorship specifically at the SRCD Biennial to a year-long program. The new name for the extended program is now the Towards 2044: Horowitz Early Career Scholar Program.

2024年12月17日 · The Society for Research in Child Development is now accepting submissions for its 7th annual Small Grants Program for Early Scholars. Grants of up to $7,500 are available on a competitive basis for research projects conducted by SRCD early career members who completed their doctoral degrees in the past five years.
