2020年2月7日 · With Back to School in 2020, Renaissance will add a new set of measures to our industry-leading assessments of reading and mathematics. Teachers and schools will be able to select Star CBM, which provides curriculum-based measures of reading in grades K–6 and mathematics in grades K–3.

Star CBM is designed so that for each grade, schools and teachers have one recommended screening measure for reading and one for math based on several data factors from field testing. These measures are marked with an asterisk * for each grade and subject in the table above.

Renaissance takes a holistic approach to assessments, combining computer-adaptive assessments (CAT) and curriculum-based measures (CBM), along with custom-built, standards-based assessments and non-academic assessments.

Star CBM assessments can be administered by any adult who has some experience working on academic material with students — current and retired teachers, para-educators, academic subject-area coaches, administrators, or experienced volunteers.

Star CBM Reading is a 1-on-1 set of measures. It is a Universal Screener that meets the 3rd garde legislative requirements. It is administered 3 times a year.
