The Federal SD-10 is a dual tone siren with a 7-1/2HP motor. It's similar to the STH-10 and STL-10 in that the motor is on the top and the air intake is on the bottom. Obviously the housing on the SD-10 is the most unusual thing about it.

2020年5月10日 · Broke several bolts off in the main motor frame. Will need to drill them out and tap them and make replacement bolts from 3/8" all thread. Bearings are good so not worried about those. Siren is currently in pieces. Armature is out of the motor frame while I fix the brush carriers and deal with the broken bolts. More to follow. Nicely done!

The Shelbyville, Kentucky one was removed a few years ago. Nice map, never knew there were that many of them. Let alone any on another continent!
