2014年3月9日 · Out of all the Stihl models I would guess that the 070/MS720 out sell other model by a factor of 1 to 20, the second most common model is an MS381. Over here an easily attainable Stihl pro saws are 880, 070/720, 660, 381, 361 and for Husqvarna its the 3120(not common but attainable), 395, 390, 372, 365.

2021年10月6日 · ok. I have pics in which once i figure out how to post, i will. The 090 cylinder OD will not fit into the 070 case. OD on 070 way smaller where it fits down inside case. Totally impossible. The 070 was a new unused Hutzl saw and the 090 cylinder was also a Hutzl. I have pics with a micrometer showing no way it fits down into recess of case

2012年5月14日 · I kind of think Stihl did what they did to the 031and 032. That is, ditching the points and adding an electronic chip unit. Same as an Atom or Nova II but branded Stihl. Funny, but the original points set up was bullet proof - wonder why Stihl bothered with the electronic set up? You have the proof on that decal there. Nice saw and great find.

2012年11月15日 · Things to look for which are common to most of the 070 fake "types":-No registered trademark symbol on the top nameplate or fan housing.-Allen head instead of slotted head bolts.-No "Made in Germany/Brazil" on fan housing I believe Stihl have referred to the 070 as MS070 but not for European/North American markets. e-Catalogo STIHL (pages 28-29)

2012年2月9日 · look at the cylinder above the clutch cover, its possible to distinguished a difference by the cylinders fins casting's ..the top of the transfer port ends between the 5th & 6th fins counting up on a 090's cylinder. on a 070 cylinder the transfer port ends between the 4th & 5th fins ...:msp_thumbup: or if the clutches are still factory the 090 has a larger clutch
