2004年3月6日 · i purchased a new stihl 088 on ebay from canada. took about a week to get and the seller is very trustworthy. got the saw thirytsix inch bar and 25feet of 404 chain for 1200. great savings from the 1700 and change the local dealers want for the saw.

2004年3月29日 · Stihl replaced the 084 and 064 with the newer 066 and 088 models for whatever reason. Still the 084 is a great perfomer, it should have soemwhere in the range of 8.5-9 HP if the muffler is opened up right.

2015年3月10日 · The 088 is 2001 or earlier , the MS 880 is 2001 or later . Stihl made the numbering changes during 2001 so that gives you the idea of age . 088 is a fine saw if you need one that big and if you look at the current price of an MS 880 from your local dealer that will give you an idea of it's worth used VS new .
