2021年3月12日 · A segment of 14mm ID hardened spring acts as a usable adapter so a Stihl bar with a 14mm slot can be used on a 660. But going the other way is not so easy. I've done it by using custom made bar bolts. The set below shows one original 12mm stihl (660) bar bolt and a pair of home shop made bar bolts that fit the 660 body but fit the 14mm bars.

Unfortunatelly is about 2 months past warranty and Stihl after over 3 weeks still cannot get the courage to reply back to me.

2024年11月8日 · Was at the local Stihl dealer and they had an 881 with 41 inch bar on the shelf. Felt quite heavy and unwieldly . The 661 with 36 inch bar felt so much lighter and better balanced. Did make some vroom vroom noises while swinging the 881 around the showroom

2022年11月14日 · I thought the 881 was m-tronics. IMO, Stihl does recommend bar lengths less then they can easily pull. I wouldn't put much stock in the 41" length being a max. The 88x are single purpose saws -- to pull long long bars. If you're not pulling a really really long bar, there are better saws to use. I had an 880 and quickly learned it was not for me.
